Deleting Your Zenbild Account and Data
Last Updated: July 14, 2026
This page explains how to delete your Zenbild account and the personal data associated with it. Zenbild is a construction jobsite communication and task platform used by organizations and their Authorized Users.
How to delete your account
You can delete your account in two ways:
- In the mobile app: go to You → Danger zone → "Delete my data", then type the confirmation word shown on screen (for example, DELETE, EXCLUIR, or ELIMINAR depending on your language; not case-sensitive) and tap Delete my data.
- On the web: go to Your profile (click your name at the bottom left of the screen) → Settings → Account → Delete my data, then type the confirmation word shown on screen and click Delete my data.
What happens when you delete
When you delete your account, Zenbild anonymizes your personal information in place, disables the account, and releases your email address so it can be used to create a new, separate account. We delete your private assistant conversations, notifications, push registrations, and credentials.
Content you contributed to your organization is retained under that organization's control and re-attributed to a deactivated, non-identifying label (for example, "Deactivated User"). This retained content can include files you uploaded (and any location or other metadata embedded in photos), messages you sent in shared channels, and direct messages you exchanged with other users. This is an anonymization/erasure process rather than a row-level hard delete, carried out in a manner intended to meet applicable deidentification standards.
Identity erasure begins immediately, and content cleanup runs shortly afterward. Deletion is completed as quickly as possible and guaranteed within 30 days. We may retain limited information where required by law.
Data that belongs to your organization
If you use Zenbild through an employer or another organization, some content you create (for example, task records, photos, voice notes, and messages tied to a jobsite) is "Customer Content" as defined in the Terms of Use and belongs to that organization. Deleting your individual account does not delete that organization's Customer Content, which is handled according to the organization's instructions and our Data Processing Addendum. If you need that content deleted, contact your organization's Zenbild administrator, or contact us and we will route your request appropriately.
Deleting specific data without closing your account
At this time, the available option is full account deletion, as described above.
